White House Down

For a second I thought that this was a new trailer for Olympus Has Fallen. It isn't. It's seems to be more of a "popcorn version" of that film. It's directed by Roland Emmerich so you know what to expect!

The first thing that struck me from watching the trailer is "I hope they sort out that dodgy CGI on the White House". Then again, it may be designed to look like that as it's taken from a "TV broadcast".

So just dit back, put your brain on standby, and enjoy!

In Columbia Pictures’ White House Down, Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it's up to Cale to save his daughter, the president, and the country.

The film is directed by Roland Emmerich, written by James Vanderbilt, and produced by Bradley J. Fischer, Harald Kloser, James Vanderbilt, Larry Franco, and Laeta Kalogridis. Executive Producers are Ute Emmerich, Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin.
