After 20 years Scrooge is back

Can you believe that it's 20 years since we saw Muppet and the gang trying to make Scroogr change his ways for Christmas! When I heard the news I went "Is it that long ago..." That made me feel very old!

There isn't a trailer for the re-release as yet so I can only give you the original, probably, US trailer

20 years after its original release, The Muppet Christmas Carol, returns to the big screen on brand new digital prints, introducing the new generation of Muppet fans to one of the greatest Christmas tales ever told, in the way only Kermit and friends can tell it.

Brian Henson directs his late father's creations in the Charles Dickens classic. Michael Caine, in a truly great performance, plays the old miser Scrooge with Kermit as his long-suffering but ever-hopeful employee Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Cratchit's wife, and a host of Muppets (including the Great Gonzo as an unlikely Charles Dickens) taking other primary roles in this bright, playful adaptation of the sombre tale. Or at least it starts brightly enough--the anarchic humour soon settles into mirthful memories and a sense of melancholy as the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future take Scrooge on a journey of his lonely, wasted life.
The Muppet Christmas Carol returns to UK cinemas from November 23, 2012.
