Mind the Hoe Moe

Fox has just sent a new trailer for the film. Apart from a very bad dummy drop at the beginning, then to the end it's a selection of the three hitting each other over the head with various household instruments, and a crustacean

Left on a doorstep of an orphanage run by nuns, new-borns Larry, Curly and Moe waste no time finger-poking, nyuk-nyuking and woo-woo-wooing their way into trouble. Years later, and with the orphanage forced to close its doors, the three grown Stooges embark on a mission to save their former home.

It's raining Magic Mike

From incomparable director Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s 11,12,13, Traffic), comes this generation’s Saturday Night Fever, starring Channing Tatum (Dear John, GI Joe, Step Up), Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four) and Matthew McConaughey (Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Fool’s Gold).

To a rebellious 19-year-old kid (Pettyfer) looking for independence from his family, Magic Mike (Tatum) seems like the perfect role model: he’s got a nice car, a nice apartment, and a seemingly endless supply of women. What’s his secret? He’s a male stripper, and when the kid dives headlong into Magic Mike’s world, his mad dancing skills and hunger for excitement make for an unforgettable summer...

Sexy, funny and shocking, this film is a hedonistic thrill ride with a powerful undertow. A razor sharp cast - led by top liner Channing Tatum in a career-defining turn as the titular Magic Mike devours the up-to-the moment freight train of a script, and the result will be relentlessly entertaining and sure to be one of the most talked about films of the year... and let’s not forget the price-of-admission dancing sequences...

Are you dreaming Quaid?

It's got the same name as the Arnie film. However, it seems to diverge quite a lot as this one seems just to stick to earth. that in mind we do, seem, to see the iconic tripple-brested whore

Total Recall is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick.

Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories.  For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he's got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life - real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world – Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen. The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.

Looper

With the look and feel of a mix of Source Code, 12 Monkey and Inception, Looper's first trailer hits the web.  It maybe because Bruce Willis is in it makes me think of 12 Monkeys...

In the year 2042 time travel has not yet been invented. But in 30 years it will have been.

In Rian Johnson’s highly anticipated sci-fi action thriller, Joe works as a looper, a futuristic assassin who receives and eliminates targets sent back in time by a criminal organisation. The only rule is that you do not let your target escape – even if that target is you.
LOOPER hits cinemas September 28, 2012.

The Campaign hots up some more

Two new posters have just hit for the film.  This time, unlike the last set, doesn't include any baby kissing.

When long-term congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) commits a major public gaffe before an upcoming election, a pair of ultra-wealthy CEOs plot to put up a rival candidate and gain influence over their North Carolina district. Their man: naive Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis), director of the local Tourism Center. At first, Marty appears to be the unlikeliest possible choice but, with the help of his new benefactors' support, a cutthroat campaign manager and his family's political connections, he soon becomes a contender who gives the charismatic Cam plenty to worry about.
