Hold on to your Boots...

Now the press releases from Cannes are coming in with regularity. This time it's for the Shrek spin-off, Puss in Boots. It's the first in, probably, a long line of stunts publicizing upcoming films. It did look like a fun launch and you can see a feature about the launch near the bottom of the post.

On Wednesday, May 11th 2011, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, the stars of Puss In Boots, "towered over" the Carlton Pier for the first major event of the Cannes Film Festival.

Way before Puss ever met Shrek, our suave and furry feline hero goes on a swashbuckling ride, as he teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty and the street-savvy Kitty Softpaws to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs.
