In some strange way I feel that this is what 3D is for - not the shock value from Saw, or the 80s version of 3D, where things are just thrown at the audience at random points to a more impressive experience with the dances coming out towards the audience making it feel more that "you are there" watching it live not "what a nice film about dance"!
