  I'm watching the opening ceremony of the Deli games and thought "What did games of yesteryear look like?"  Today this is easily answerable by going to the great British Pathe website

From the first games in Canada in 1930

  To the change from "The Empire Games" to British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1954
